TRAINING: The future of Southern MN Lakes

It is estimated that nearly 40% of the lakes and streams in Minnesota are polluted, with much of that centered in southern Minnesota. Watershed development and runoff, invasive carp, curly leaf pondweed, harmful algal blooms, and extreme weather conditions all contribute to increased pressure on our lake resources.

To address these challenges, ISG is hosting the inaugural, Future of Southern Minnesota Lakes Conference, aimed at equipping citizens, organized lake associations, and other lake stewards with important tools, approaches, and resources to care for our lakes in southern Minnesota.
